Selfridges Spring Picks

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I enjoy making these photo sets so much that I'm considering making them a weekly staple - who doesn't want to mourn the end of the weekend by looking at beautiful things they can't afford? Me, apparently.

Does anyone else play the "when-I-win-the-lottery" game? AKA looking at crazily expensive clothes/holidays/handbags that you're going to buy when you miraculously come into a fortune. It's fun but torturous. 10/10 would recommend.

I think I said this last week, but I'm so happy that feminine clothes are back in style. Apparently this is because in times of political uncertainty, we want to dress in a way that makes us feel empowered. Exit mom jeans and trainers, enter frills and heels. Vivetta are a brand that do girly fashion extremely well. If you could sum up my style in one brand, it would be them. It's just a shame that I can't afford to fork out £300+ every time I want a new dress.

Self Portrait are a brand I've only just started to take notice of. I used to think their stuff was a little bit fussy, but their spring collection is my ideal holiday wardrobe - light tops and midi sundresses for sipping cocktails by the sea and dresses like the one above for the nighttime.

Finishing touches come in the form of these cute heart shaped MIu Miu sunglasses and a rose gold Olivia Burton watch. I really want a watch, mostly so I can check the time in meetings without looking rude, but I'm super fussy. I think this one is a good combination of modern and classic. The Chloe Drew bag has overtaken the Faye as my current designer bag crush; it seems a little more spring appropriate, especially in grey. Grey is probably my favourite colour to wear, I'm not sure what that says about me.

Need I say any more about the final item than TRAINERS WITH BUNNY EARS?

What do you put in your dream shopping basket? And do you agree that bunny ear trainers are the best invention ever?
